Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the formation of the municipal system and the basic milestones in the development of municipal administration and its functioning. The intention is also to present the city archive fund as a distinct typological unit and to point out the basic procedures in its processing.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to: explain the basic concepts in the field of city administration, characterize the basic milestones in the development of city administration, describe the individual administrative competencies, characterize the city archive fund, describe the main principles of processing this type of fund.

  • Basic concepts and competences of municipal administration;
  • Formation of the municipal system;
  • Administrative and legal development of urban communities;
  • The written production of urban offices;
  • Methodology for processing a city archive type fund.
