Course objectives
The Musicological proseminar II is targeted to students who begin ther studies in musicology. It follows the autumn Musicological proseminar I. Students will understand the basic methods and technique of musicological research. A condition for the award of credit is the continuous performance of the partial stages of the seminar work according to the instructions of the lecturer in the proseminar, where participation is compulsory according to the study regulations. It is not possible to submit the seminar work without participation in the proseminar.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to use the basic methods of musical research.
Syllabus
  • The main aim of this course is to master and excercise the elementary musicological work. The output is a proseminar written work, which was produced exclusively in the course of the proseminar.
