Course objectives
This course complements practical courses of interpretation about other skills needed to achieve the best possible performance. This course aims to familiarize students with the procedures to prepare the interpreter for the performance itself, as well as the specifics of consecutive interpreting.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the students will be able to prepare themselfs for interpreting assignment in a convenient way.
Syllabus
  • Collecting essential preparation materials for the assignment. Language and vocabulary preparation and aquisition, analyzing of the sources. An special and technical terms in Czech Sign Lagunage. Principles of the consecutive interpreting, self-feedback.
