- Course objectives
- At the end of the course the students will be able:
- to prepare a good teaching unit
- to experience an effective approach towards teaching in case studies
- to get feed-back to the performance in case studies
- to create conditions to experience the use of technical means in classes
- to create condition for discussions - Syllabus
- The basic scheme of the course:
- 1. defining the individual and group objectives for the course
- 2. definition of the case studies for the whole course
- 3. technical means as a support in the classes
- 4. how to teach new words
- 5. how to teach phonetics
- 6. how to teach grammer
- 7. how to include the information about the country and its history into the classes
- 8. conversation and conversation skill in the classes
- 9. how to use literary text in classes
- 10. how to organize the group work in the classes
- 11. how to check knowledge and skills
- 12. preparation of simple materials for the classes
- 13. the final discussion on a whole complex of themes
