- Course description. mgr. Bednářová: Work with the classics of Czech poetry and prose with emphasis on an overall interpretation via analysis of characters, motives, semantics of the title, narrative techniques, cathegories of time and space, language and style, reception... To each work one or two sessions will be devoted in the form of an interpretation "workshop", the starting point being the participants' seminar papers.

The starting point of the work in the seminar is usually a topic dealt with in a seminar paper. The texts from both primary and secondary literature are chosen so as to complement the list of reading required for the exam.
