Course objectives
An introduction to the theory and methodology of film history research. The e-learning form of the course will be based on regular home reading and handing over of smaller papers.
Main objective:
to understand the basic of theory of historical research and to be able to use main methodologies of film history research.

  • Introduction to the study of cinema history.
  • Methods of research and approaches to the cinema history.
  • How to write about cinema history.
