The students needn‘t have any previous knowledge of Latvian language to enroll in this course, but it is recommended to enroll in the course BA411 or BA412 at the same time. The course is also offered to the students of the fields other than those the course is directly associated with.

This course is meant as a secondary course for the students of courses BA411-4 but can be taken separately as well. Its programme is a conversation in Latvian language with a native speaker, on various topics: town and village, healthy lifestyle etc.
