At the end of the course students should be able to:
understand to evolution of collections
explain motivation of collectors to collecting
interpret old sources about collections
Syllabus
  • History of collections - St. Vitus cathedrale in Prague, Loretto in Prague, cardinal Richelieu, Franz Ferdinand d'Este, collections of Czech noble families - Rožmberkové, Lobkovicové, Černínové, Kolovratové etc.
