Course objectives

Developpement of speech kills, work with newspaper texts, orthography.

Syllabus

• How to argue and defend one's point of view ? Discussion and written essays on the ground of the songs.

Literature

• Savoir rédiger, Larousse /VUEF, 2001
• Trvail avec des sites internet recommandés

Teaching methods

Application of theoretical knowledge on authentic texts (recordings). During their presentations students show their ability to interconnect on their own their theoretical knowledge and practical analysis of a specific text. Active participation in the course (only 1 missing is accepted). Participation on class discussions and all written homeworks in time are requested.

Assessment methods

Examination – written test. Once enrolled, in-class attendance is mandatory.
