Students will be enrolled in the course after a successful completion of the courses JAP101 Japanese Writing System I. and JAP102 Japanese Language I. The present course is a continuance of the Japanese Writing System I. from the previous semester. In this term the classwork will be divided into theoretical explanation of the Japanese writing system (JAP110a) and its practical exercises (JAP110b). - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The objective is to devote as much time as possible to revision and mastery of the Japanese characters kanji by the students, as well as a further development of Japanese vocabulary. An active mastery of reading and writing Japanese characters will be essential for further advancement in the study of Japanese language. Regular course attendance is compulsory.

- Teaching methods
- Practical drills aimed at mastering the correct writing of Japanese characters.
- Assessment methods
- The course ends with a written examination, which will summarize the characters learned throughout the semester. The test will be considered successfully passed above 70%. Parallel test which will form a part of the final evaluation are to be expected.
