- Course objectives
- The final written exam is to verify the student’s level of knowledge in the field of French normative grammar. The final written exam focuses on material handled in Normative Grammar I – III.
- Syllabus
- The written exam consists of:
- PART I (dictionary not allowed)
- 1) understanding spoken text and content of the synthesis frame
- 2) Adequate, ie. spelling and grammar standards corresponding to the transfer of listening comprehension in the form of dictation
- PART II (possibility of monolingual dictionary)
- 3) Understanding of a written text and adequate summary (résumé)
- PART III (possibility of a translation dictionary Č-F)
- 4) Ability to convert text to the appropriate grammatical and stylistic level from Czech to French with emphasis on the systemic differences between the two languages (with using dictionary).

- Teaching methods
- Application of theoretical knowledge on authentic texts. During their presentations students show their ability to interconnect on their own their theoretical knowledge and practical analysis of a specific text.
- Assessment methods
- Written test is required (minimum 65%), where student shows their ability to apply lingustic phenomena in accordance with the standard.
