- Course objectives
- The student chooses the theme of his Master of Arts Diploma Thesis (in cooperation with the head teacher of the course) from the Czech or European medieval (or patristic) Latin literature. The teacher also names the head-consultant of the M. A. Diploma Thesis. Upon completion of this course, students have demonstrated their ability to implement a research plan on a specific topic, conduct research independently and present the results in a standard written form, which meets the standards of academic discourse.

- The synopsis depends on the theme of the M. A. Diploma Thesis.
- Generally: search for the literature;
- search in the sources;
- working on partial problems;
- formulation of each chapter;
- working on notes and supplements;
- list of the literature and sources.
