Prerequisites
The course aims to introduce the history and methods of analysis of music interpretation practice. The lectures take place in cooperation with teachers from Brno University of Technology.

Course objectives
The course aims to present the current knowledge, methods, and topics of analysis of music interpretation. An integral part of the lectures is the introduction to software that allows the analysis of the expressiveness of music performance (rhythm, tempo changes).
Emphasis is placed on the development of individual abilities to understand, interpret, and actively use the given issues in the specific field and interdisciplinary.
Learning outcomes
A successful graduate will be able to:
- identify and summarize important features of issues of music interpretation
- carry out independent creative professional activity
- be fully able to use discourse in the field and understand methodological problems
- to orientate in current musicological and sociocultural trends
