- Presumption of the course is basic knowledge of baroque art

- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to understand the work of one of the most appreciated etchers of the 17th century, Rembrandt. His work has been valued for the variety of experiments with plates and paper as well as for the expression of emotions and affects. Course will be also focused on wider circle of dutch print of the 17th century.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course student will be able to: recognize graphic art of Rembrandt; analyse the most significant prints of Rembrandt; compare Rembrandt´s prits with the Dutch print production of 17th century
