The course is intended for doctoral students of the specialisation Historical languages of the Czech Lands in the programmes of Czech philology and Latin mediaevistics.

Course objectives
The essential works of German literature of the Old High German, Middle High German and Early New High German periods are presented and discussed.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to name and comment on the content of the basic works of German medieval literature.
