- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to familiarize students with current trends in individual auxiliary historical sciences on the basis of selected topics, which are based on the research and teaching activities of individual teachers. The course is taught in seven blocks, in each of which are held in parallel three seminars in Czech and one in English. Students choose the seminars that correspond to their own focus.
- Learning outcomes
- Graduates will consolidate the knowledge they have acquired in regular courses in the auxiliary historical sciences and gain an overview of current research topics in the field.
- Syllabus
- The course is taught in blocks during the week of 24 June to 28 June 2024.
- Literature
- Literatura je zadána individuálně podle probírané problematiky.
- Teaching methods
- The teaching blocks consist of an introductory lecture followed by a seminar based on joint reading, interpretation and discussion of historical sources.
- Assessment methods
- Active participation in all seven teaching blocks, at least four of which must be in English, is a prerequisite for credit.
