Course objectives
Aesthetics and aesthetic education The course introduces the issues of aesthetic education in relation to aesthetics and cultural history. It examines the rise and development of this field of study and particularly concentrates on the postmodern opinions of some authors. The course makes students familiar with special forms and methods of aesthetic education and with their usage. The ground of the course will be the following topics: historical survey of aesthetic education and cultural history, classic and alternative methods of teaching the aesthetic education and the position of aesthetic education in contemporary educational system.
