- Course objectives
- The course seeks to acquaint the art history student with the basic styles and architects, working in the 17th and 18th century in Bohemia and Moravia. In this epoch there are created the classical systems of the baroque architecture and their differentiation in both lands.

- 1. The baroque in the architecture in Bohemia and Moravia: definition, historiography and chronology. & 2. The Rudolfinian mannerism and Giovanni Maria Filippi. & 3. Giovanni Battista Pieroni in Bohemia and Moravia. & 4. The architecture of the jesuits order: delineators, architects amd mastermasons. & 5. The Planimetrism in the architecture in the 2nd Half of the 17th century („Praemers architecture“) & 6. Francesco Caratti in Bohemia – Giovanni Pietro Tencalla in Moravia. & 7. Jean Bapt. Mathey early classic. & 8. The new academical and radical style: Domenico Martinelli, Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt, Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. & 9. The group of the radical baroque in Bohemia: Christoph Dientzenhofer. & 10. Johann Santini Aichel between Bohemia and Moravia. & 11. The architecture in Bohemia in the 1. Half of the 18th century. & 12. The architecture in Moravia in the 1. Half of the 18th century. & 13. Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer (the baroque syntesis) and Franz Anton Grimm (late baroque academism).
