Course objectives
Annotation: This seminary is going to dwell on the person and work of Jan Długosz, the most important middle-age polish historiographer with the focus on his chronicle Annales seu Cronicae incliti Regni Poloniae. Our attention will pay to author himself, his literary, fundatory and diplomatic activities, and to analysis of the lower mentioned topics as they appear in his works. Lecture part is followed by reading topic-concerning extracts from the chronicle.
