- Course objectives
- The class is focused on contemporary issues and theories of perception, attention, memory, consciousness, language and thinking. The current topics of cognitive psychology that are fundamental for further course of the field will be treated with special attention. We will attempt to analyze main ideas of selected approaches and to evaluate them critically in the context of preceding knowledge.

- The class is focused on contemporary issues and theories of perception, attention, memory, consciousness, language and thinking. The current topics of cognitive psychology that are fundamental for further course of the field will be treated with special attention. We will attempt to analyze main ideas of selected approaches and to evaluate them critically in the context of preceding knowledge.
- We expect from students to study prior assigned texts and also an active participation in the class. Students will write to 2 seminar papers and prepare their own research project that will be presented in front of the class. The successful class completion requires at least 80% of attendance.
