Course objectives
Students will cultivate their ability to evaluate critically literature and sources, to analyse dramatic text, reconstruct and analyse theatre performance.
Syllabus
  • - Pinter and Crimp as playwrights
  • - genral theoretical frames: theory of dialogue, absurd drama
  • - analysis of chosen dramatic texts
  • - reconstruction of selected production of Pinter's texts
  • - analysis of selected performances of Crimp's plays
