Course objectives
The main aim of a series of lectures is to prepare students for independent study of traditional textile production. Students will be able to apply, interpret, analyze and assess the subject of their studies on the successful mastery of the content of lectures and learn the skills involved in applying and comparing typologies and methodologies in their professional practice.
Syllabus
  • words of art, sources of information (archive, literature, painting), typology of textiles materials, archeology, shop and trade guilds, woven and nonwoven fabrics, methodology of discribed textile products, typology of decorative technigues, use of decorative technigues in folk areas, textile products as ceremonial object
