- The objective of the course is for the student to master the spoken Japanese language on a mediate level. The attendance in sessions is compulsory.

- Teaching methods
- The course is constructed on a practical Japanese textbook Bunka Chúkyú Nihongo I. It also includes introduction to Japanese melodic accent, drills of correct Japanese pronunciation, and explanation and exercises of selected grammatical and lexical phenomena.
- Assessment methods
- Four tests and and the main final test. The minimum pass is 70%.
