Cíle předmětu
Cílem předmětu je představit práci s databází latinských nápisů císařské éry, která zachycuje a zpracovává jazykový materiál lidové latiny zachycený na nápisechz římských provincií (Illyricum, Gallia, Britannia, Germania, Hispania, Italia). Studenti budou umět pracovat s databází, vyhledávat relevantní data, zachytit vývojévé změny latiny, a naučí se metodám jak získávat regionální varianty latiny. Studenti se seznámí s principy práce lingvistické geografie.

Meeting I: Methodology (In search of the regional diversification of Latin: some methodological considerations in employing the inscriptional evidence. 2: Computerised Historical Linguistic Database of Latin Inscriptions of the Imperial Age: basic concepts and procedures, the digital data form and its subheadings. 3: Computerised Historical Linguistic Database of Latin Inscriptions of the Imperial Age: presentation of the search and charting modules of the Database.
