Course objectives
A research seminar, in which student can participate on serious historical research on domain history of stylu and narrative of Czech cinema.
Seminar should familiarize students with:
- work in groups;
- method of analysis of film style and narrative;
- Czech cinema of the 1920s.
Syllabus
  • Historical poetics of Czech cinema of the 1920'. Reading of basic methodological and historical texts.
  • Analytical work in groups.
  • Comparison of findings during the group sessions.
