Course objectives

Practical course of Slovene lanugage - translating different types of texts (articles, contracts, instructions) from Czech to Slovene lanugage.

Syllabus

Translating oral and mostly written texts. Themes will be topical, connected with different circumstances, important for translators.

Teaching methods

Reading, translating, homeworks, class discussion.

Assessment methods

An evaluation of a translated Slovenian novel. Workshop attendence required.
