Course objectives
The aim of the course is to develop student's ability to produce and evaluate a scientific paper. We emphasize methodological requirements based on the idea of ​​an ideal rational discourse, i.e. argumentative adequacy, relevance and sufficiency, clarity, falsifiability. At the end of this course the student will be able to appropriately evaluate a scientific text. More specifically, student will by acquainted with basic framework, which enables her to identify the general methodological, argumentative and stylistic shortcomings of academic writing, regardless of its topic. Students' sensitivity to such phenomena has a direct effect on the production and evaluation of their own texts, typically dissertations.

The course consists of three lectures.
Assessment methods
