- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to provide the students with the opportunity to meet clients with specific needs and in specific circumstances.
We would like to provide the connection between the theoretical knowledge and the practical application of informations that students obtain via self study and meetings with the coordinator of the particular project.
Further, we would like to support the involved institutions by the work of our students. - Learning outcomes
- After completing the course the student will be able to:
- communicate with the group of clients he chose
- aply the theoretical knowledge on the work with the clients
- describe the characteristics of the chosen group of clients
- explain the basic principles of the work with the chosen group of clients
- aply the basic principles of the work with the cosen group of clients when working with them
- describe the role of psychologist in the particular institution - Syllabus
- 1) Introduction meeting (at the beginning of the semester) - not compulsory but recommended
- 2) Introduction meeting with the project coordinator
- 3) Taking part in the project
- 4) Conclusion meeting with the coordinators (at the end of the semester
- Teaching methods
- In this course the students take part in a student project they choose. The particular projects vary in the time requirements (e.g. regular attendance once a week or one-time attendance for a whole week). The students communicate about the date of their participation in the project with the student coordinator. The theoretical knowledge is obtained by self study, meetings with the coordinators or the employments of particular institutiones.
