Course objectives
The seminar is devoted to the development of Czech fanstatic literature and the interpretation of selected works. It monitors development trends in the field of Czech science fiction, fantasy and horror and it presents important milestones in the development of this genre. On the basis of this, works are also selected for interpretation, which are related to the discussed topic thematically or temporally.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to:
- orient in basic concepts connected with Czech fantastic literature
- identify important development trends
- understand the current state of fantastic literature in our country
- name important representatives of Czech fantastic literature
- interpret selected works
