- Course objectives
- Propositions of a doctoral thesis have to be handed in together with the thesis itself. An English abstract must be included.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will learn how to reduce the core of the thesis to a lengthy and structured abstract. The propositions are to be supplied with other requirements (CV, list of publications, list of taught courses and other academic activities carried out by the student during the PhD studies).
- Syllabus
- 1) A draft of propositions.
- 2) A presentation of the propositions to the tutor, the members of the Department of Classical Studies and the doctoral students during an open seminar.
- Literature
- Literature is assigned on an individual basis based on the topic of the thesis.
- Literatura je předepsána individuálně podle tématu práce.

- Independent work, consultations with supervisor.
- Assessment methods
- The credit is granted on the basis of the presentation of the thesis propositions to the supervisor, members of the Department of Classical Studies and the doctoral students during an open seminar.
