Abstract
After completing this course the student will be able to:
understand authentic scientific texts/lectures
identify the main ideas
formulate the main ideas
interpret the information
present scientific topics using basic presentation techniques
summarize a scientific text
compare and contrast
use arguments in a discussion on a scientific topic (defend one´s opinion, opose, support arguments of a colleague)
present one´s research using advanced presentation techniques
communicate on general and specialized topics using specfic language
Learning outcomes
After completing this course the student will be able to: understand authentic texts/lectures identify the main ideas formulate the main ideas interpret the information present topics using basic presentation techniques summarize texts compare and contrast use arguments in a discussion on a different topics (defend one´s opinion, opose, support arguments of a colleague) present one´s research using advanced presentation techniques

Course of Spanish for Special Purposes: specialized text analysis, listening comprehension, conversation and discussion in pairs and in groups, applying grammar in new contexts, homework
Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
The condition for a successful finishing of the course is handing in several tasks (presentation, argumentative text, formal email, abstract) and 85% attendance in the seminars.

INFORMACE O UZNÁVÁNÍ ZKOUŠEK:
Studentům, kteří na jazykových školách úspěšně složili státní zkoušku všeobecnou nebo mají španělské zkoušky DELE B2, C1, C2, nebo jsou absolventy španělského gymnázia bude uznána písemná část zkoušky po předložení originálu vysvědčení. Studenti, kteří absolvovali zkoušku ze španělštiny na jiné univerzitě či fakultě podobného zaměření mohou žádat o uznání písemné části zkoušky pokud dosáhli urovně B1 dle ERR (kód JS001 Odborná španělština - zkouška) nebo B2 dle ERR (kód JS002 Pokročilá odborná španělština - zkouška). Ústní část zkoušky - prezentace na odborné téma z oboru - je povinná.
