Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to apprise students with the practical aspects of the work with the historical skeletal material and archaeological findings on the non-university environment and with the operation of these institutions. These may be museums, archaeological institutes, or other institutions that carry out archaeological research, curate exhibitions or have collection depository.
Learning outcomes
Students will apprise the practical skills related to the organization of research and how the research is practiced. Alternatively, he may participate in the processing of archaeological findings and skeletal material or in the organisation of an exhibition and other activities.
Syllabus
  • Students spend at least two weeks during the spring term or summer holidays in an institution that focuses on studying human history. The student should participate in field research to gain practical knowledge of how such research is organized and practiced. Alternatively, he may participate in the processing of archaeological findings and skeletal material or in the organization of exhibition and other activities. On its activities, the lead practitioner will provide a confirmation from the institution that he has participated in the practice (from when to when) and what he has done.

Credit based on the submitted certificate of participation in the practice and the activities performed.
