Genetical diversity, methods of estimation, species diversity and speciation, ecosystem variation and function, origin and evolution of life, macroevolution, major transitions in evolution, past quantitave changes in biodiversity, recent situation, stucture of recent bioms, monitoring and inventarization, threats and protection of biodiversity, sustainable development, social consequences.
