Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to explain the history of historiografy since the Elightenment till the present, i. e. in the 19th and 20th centuries. It put historiography into wider political, cultural and epistemological contexts. • One of the most important objections of this course is to bring the students to the knowlege that historiography is not only a scientific discipline, but also a kind of human intellectual activity, a way how to understand world.
Learning outcomes
The student is able to explain the basic overview of the history of world and Czech historiography from the Enlightenment to the present.
