    Upon successful completion of the programme, the graduate is able to:

    • explain the concepts, methods, and paradigms of bioinformatics, including relevant mathematical tools;
    • navigate the basic types of biomacromolecular sequences as well as the structures of organic molecules and biomacromolecules;
    • design algorithmic solutions to problems and write efficient programs in a selected language to solve them;
    • understand the fundamental principles of IT and apply them effectively;
    • utilize specific bioinformatics tools and platforms and construct complex bioinformatics workflows;
    • apply various methods to process, visualize, and analyze complex bioinformatics data;
    • comprehend the fundamental principles of modeling biochemical structures and biological systems;
    • effectively utilize and adapt algorithms for the analysis of biological sequences.
