Sborník věnovaný významným výročím Ruska – bitvě u Poltavy, u Borodina, začátku Velké vlastenecké války s nacistickým Německem a rozpadu SSSR – soustřeďuje příspěvky rusistů z ČR, Polska, Ruska, Ukrajiny a Slovenska, kteří se zaměřili na spojitosti jazyka, literatury, kultury a věd, jež je zkoumají, s historií, politikou a kulturními proudy spolu s civilizační a duchovní úlohou Ruska v Evropě a ve světě. Rozpětí problémů zahrnujících tematiku etiky, charakteru současné ruštiny až po literární zobrazení válečných událostí, perestrojku a kulturní misi Ruska, literární útvary od poezie přes prózu k dramatu a literaturu klasickou, moderní a postmoderní, charakterizuje tento svazek jako nejnovější a nejkoncepčnější příspěvek k problematice minulého i současného areálu Ruska.

Abstract (in English)

The volume devoted to the significant anniversaries of Russia – Poltava and Borodino Battles, the beginning of the Great Patriotic War with Nazi Germany and the disintegration of the Soviet Union – concentrates the contributions of the specialists in Russian studies from the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Ukraine ad Slovakia focused on the connection of language, literature, culture and the sciences, which investigate them, with history, politics and cultural streams together with civilizational and spiritual role of Russia in Europe and in the world. The range of the problems covering the themes of ethics, the character of contemporary Russian up to literary reflections of war events, perestroika and the cultural mission of Russia, literary forms from poetry up to prose and drama as well as classical, modernist and postmodernist literature, characterizes this volume as the latest and the most conceptional contribution to the clusters of problems of the past and the present of the area of Russia.
