Abstract

První část knihy pojednává o přístupu k astmatu a alergickým nemocem v graviditě na základě metodiky, vypracované pracovní skupinou Národního institutu zdraví v Bethesdě. Předkládá doporučení pro léčbu dlouhodobou i pro zvládání akutních stavů. Týká se i dalších onemocnění, která mají podstatný vliv na zhoršení astmatu v těhotenství, je uveden i návod přípravy astmatiček k porodu. Druhá část se věnuje prevenci alergie a astmatu. Vychází ze zahraničních konsenzů, jsou doplněny další nové poznatky. Opatření primární prevence by měla být uskutečněna již v průběhu gravidity a plynule přecházet do časných údobí života dítěte, je uvedena prevence sekundární i terciární. Texty vychází z medicíny založené na důkazech. Pomohou alergologům, pneumologům, praktikům pro děti i dospělé, dermatologům, gynekologům, lékařům ORL, ale i lékařům dalších odborností lépe se v problematice orientovat a zajistit péči odpovídající současným poznatkům.

Abstract (in English)

The first part of the book is about treatment of asthma and allergic diseases in pregnancy on the basis of a methodology developed by the working group of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda. Book makes recommendations for the long-term treatment, but also for management of acute conditions. It also covers other diseases that have a significant influence on deterioration of asthma in pregnancy and provides guidance and preparation to give birth. The results of a five-year prospective evaluation are published, too. The second part deals with the prevention of allergies and asthma. It is based on international consensus completed with further new findings. Primary prevention measures should be implemented during the course of pregnancy and switch seamlessly to the early period of life. They are also listed the principles of secondary and tertiary prevention. The text is based on evidence-based medicine and helps allergologists, pulmonologists, general practitioners for children and adults, dermatologists, gynecologists, ENT doctors, and other physicians of other specialties to better understand this issues and provide appropriate care to current knowledge.
