Abstract

Publikace se zabývá problematikou sluchového postižení, především oblastí komunikačních možností jedinců se sluchovým postižením, kteří se v důsledku komunikační bariéry, vzniklé z nedostatku nebo nepřítomnosti akustické zpětné vazby, setkávají s překážkami v komunikaci ve všech oblastech života. Jednou z hlavních oblastí, které je publikace věnována, je terciární vzdělávání studentů se sluchovým postižením, jeho specifika, komunikační techniky užívané mezi vyučujícími na vysoké škole a studenty se sluchovým postižením. Monografie je členěná do pěti kapitol a obsahuje část teoretickou a empirickou. Empirickou část tvoří čtvrtá a pátá kapitola. Dominantním cílem provedeného výzkumu bylo analyzovat postoje vysokoškolských učitelů na všech fakultách Masarykovy univerzity k terciárnímu vzdělávání studentů se sluchovým postižením a vytvoření manuálu základních postupů jednání se studentem se sluchovým postižením na vysoké škole. Dále jsou uvedeny případové studie osob se sluchovým postižením. Nedílnou součástí monografie je Manuál základních postupů jednání se studentem se sluchovým postižením na vysoké škole, uvedený na CD ROM v příloze.

Abstract (in English)

The book focuses on hearing impairment, namely communication of persons with hearing impairment. These persons experience significant barriers in all spheres of communication due to absence or lack of acoustic feedback. The one of the general dilemma is the tertiary education of hearing impaired students, its specificity, communicative techniques used by the university teachers and the students with hearing impairment. The book is divided into five chapters and includes theoretical as well as empirical findings. The fourth and fifth chapter present the research design and outcomes. The main goal of the research was to analyse attitudes of university lecturers at all faculties of the Masaryk University towards education of students with hearing impairment and elaboration of a manual of basic ways of communication with university students with hearing impairment. One of these chapters offers case studies of persons with hearing impairment. The Manual of basic approaches to students with hearing impairment in the form of CD-ROM forms its important part and can be found in the attachment.
