Abstract
We tested long-term and contemporary environmental conditions as determinants of the species composition of four groups of bog organisms. Although only long-term averages of some environmental variables were sufficient to explain species compositions, major patterns were revealed by spot samples. Contrary to vegetation, short-lived and well-dispersed microorganisms already reflected the new pH/calcium gradient.
Abstract (in Czech)
Testovali jsme dlouhodobé a současné podmínky prostředí jako determinanty druhového složení čtyř skupin vrchovištních organismů. Zatímco v případě některých proměnných vysvětlovali druhové složení pouze dlouhodobé průměry, hlavní patrnosti byly odhaleny už pomocí jednorázových měření. Narozdíl od vegetace odrážely krátkověké, dobře se šířící, organismy už nově vytvořený gradient pH.
