Abstract

Tématem monografie jsou postoje veřejnosti k sociální participaci osob s různými druhy postižení se zaměřením na vzdělávání, zaměstnání a sociální vztahy. Práce nejprve představuje změny, ke kterým v současném pojetí speciální pedagogiky dochází. Následně se věnuje společenským přístupům k lidem s postižením. V empirické části jsou prezentována dvě výzkumná šetření postojů veřejnosti vůči lidem s postižením, která proběhla v letech 2011–2013. Zaměřili jsme se na zjišťování vztahů mezi postoji k lidem s různými druhy postižení a sociodemografickými charakteristikami respondentů a posléze na vztahy mezi postoji k lidem s různými druhy postižení a sociálním kontaktem mezi majoritou a lidmi s postižením.

Abstract (in English)

The topic of the book is attitudes of the general public towards social participation of individuals with disabilities focusing on education, employment and social relations. First, it introduces current changes in the field of special education. This is followed by a chapter focusing on the broader perspective of societal approaches towards people with disabilities. The empirical part of the book presents two studies of public attitudes towards social participation of people with disabilities, conducted in the years 2011–2013. We focused on acceptance of people with disabilities in education, employment and social relations and analyzed differences between attitudes according to socio-demographic variables. The second study focused on social acceptance and rejection of contact between the general public and people with disabilities.
