The first one use applied stress and temperature as independent variable, the second one use the effective shear stress and temperature in the same sense. Both methods are compared with the conclusion that the first analysis refers to a real thermodynamical system proper for measurement and second one is hypothetical model system, constructed on the basis of linear eleasticity theory. Some results of experimental measurements (Cd and CdZn alloys single crystals) are attached. ER -
