Abstract

Dans le roman Onitsha de J. M. G. Le Clézio, le motif du tambour est lié a un mouvement vertical du personnage principal. Ce motif apparait aussi dans le livre Heart of Darkness de Joseph Conrad, dans Voyage au Congo d'André Gide et dans The African Witch de Joyce Cary. Le Clézio s'inspire de Heart of Darkness et de Voyage au Congo. Il récrit le livre The African Witch de Joyce Cary.

Abstract (in English)

In the book Onitsha by J. M. G. Le Clézio, the motif of drum is connected to the vertical movement of the main protagonist. This motif appears also in the book Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad, Voyage au Congo by André Gide and The African Witch by Joyce Cary. Le Clézio is inspired by Heart of Darkness and by Voyage au Congo. He rewrote the book The African Witch of Joyce Cary.
