Abstract

Článek přibližuje některé možnosti popularizace historie a archeologie ve sféře nestátních neziskových organizací. Během deseti let autorových zkušeností jako vedoucího v dětské organizaci bylo realizováno mnoho aktivit se značným popularizačním potenciálem. Ačkoliv nabídka českých historických a archeologických organizací, například muzeí, je v této oblasti mnohem lepší než v minulosti, jsou zde stále limity v charakteru těchto akcí. Například nízká rozmanitost a pasivní politika typických muzejních popularizačních programů jsou velmi limitující pro popularizační práci s dětmi během jejich volnočasových aktivit. V tomto článku jsou popsány různé typy volnočasových aktivit z pohledu popularizátora. Zahrnuje to pravidelné schůzky, jednodenní výlety, víkendové akce a letní či zimní tábory. Jako příklad byla použita 24. Přední hlídka Royal Rangers z Brna (autorův vlastní oddíl) s vlastním programem neformálního vzdělávání a se zaměřením na praktické outdoorové aktivity.

Abstract (in English)

The following article describes some possibilities of popularisation of both history and archaeology in non-profit, non-goverment organisation‘s sphere. During ten years of author’s experience as a leader in youth organisation, there was a lot of activities with huge popularisation potential. Although the offer of Czech historical and archaeological organisations, e. g. museums, for public is much better than in the past, there are still limits in character of these events. For example, poor diversity and passive policy of typical museum popularisation programs are very limiting for popularisation work with kids during their free-time activities. In this article, different types of free-time activities are described from the popularisator‘s point of view. It includes regular meetings, one-day trips, week-end events and summer or winter camps. Royal Rangers Outpost 24 from Brno (author’s own unit) with program of informal education and with emphasis on practical outdoor activities, was used.
