Abstract

Publikace je dílčím příspěvkem k rozvoji kritického myšlení, přesněji té jeho části, která souvisí s porozuměním textu. V příručce jsou představeny některé interpretační postupy, jejichž cílem je odhalení podstatného významu sdělení, jeho zdůvodňovací struktury a případné polemiky. Publikace se skládá ze tří kapitol. První z nich se věnuje parafrázování, tedy způsobu, jak říci něco jinak. Nabízí základní nástroje k odlišení klíčových složek sdělení od těch pominutelných. Druhá kapitola tvoří páteř příručky; věnuje se rozpoznávání argumentů a jejich struktur. Jsou zde popsána interpretační vodítka, jež by měla bránit zkreslujícím argumentačním analýzám. Třetí kapitola se pak zaměřuje na obecné zachycení možných kritických reakcí vůči argumentu.

Abstract (in English)

The publication is a contribution to the development of critical thinking, more precisely to the comprehension of text. It presents some interpretative procedures focused on significant communicative components, their structure and possible critical reactions. The publication consists of three chapters. The first chapter deals with paraphrasing, i. e. the way to express something in a different manner. It offers basic tools to differentiate the key components of communication from the less important elements. The second chapter, the main part of the publication, concerns identification of arguments and their structures. Main interpretive indicators are presented to prevent distortion of argumentative analysis. The third chapter focuses on general account of rebuttals.
