Everyday usage of scholarly digital libraries radically changes. Libraries instead of metadata processing only move towards fulltext indexing, including handling of specific objects as mathematical formulae. Libraries offer new ways of content filtering, reference linking, automated classification, semantic similarity computations and bibliometrics. In the talk history of Digital Mathematical Libraries (DML) developments will be overviewed. Verified technologies will be shown on examples of the Czech Digital Mathematics Library DML-CZ and the European Digital Mathematics Library EuDML. Last but not least, current results and challenges for semantic processing, indexing and vizualization of big data in digital libraries will be shown.

Každodenní způsob využívání digitálních knihoven odborného obsahu se radikálně mění. Knihovny místo zpracování samotných metadat přechází k analýze, indexování plných textů, včetně specifického zpracování částí jako jsou matematické formule. Knihovny nabízejí nové metody filtrování obsahu, zpracování referencí, automatické klasifikace, měření sémantické podobnosti či bibliometrik. V přednášce bude ukázán vývoj digitálních matematických knihoven (DML) a ověřených technologií pro ně vyvinutých na příkladech České digitální matematické knihovny DML-CZ a Evropské digitální matematické knihovny EuDML. V závěru budou představeny současné výsledky a výzvy pro sémantické zpracování, indexování a vizualizaci velkých dat v digitálních knihovnách.
