Anotace anglicky
Bat bug (Cimex pipistrelli) is an obligatory blood sucking ectoparasite that feeds mainly on bats. It’s distribution and genetic variability in Europe is still poorly described. Previous research on Cimex pipistrelli shown morphological but no genetic diversification in bat bug according to different hosts species. Because highly polymorphic genetic markers provide useful knowledge in studies of evolution of insects, to investigate this issue further using 454 pyrosequencing a set of microsatellite markers was developed. Panels composed of 2 multiplexes was created and after analysis 7 polymorphic loci was established. Microsatelites were studied on i) 206 samples from 22 different localities (16 in Czech Republic, 5 in Slovakia, 1 in Ukraine) for geographical variability study and ii) on 67 samples from three different bat genus (Pipistrellus, Nyctalus, Myotis) for study on host diversity. All loci can be analysed in a single fragment analysis and can be used as markers to the study of evolution and the ecology of structured bug populations.
