Five years ago, MetaCentrum – The Czech NGI has started the development of a local TORQUE Batch System fork as a replacement for the commercial PBSPro system, previously used in the Czech National Grid. Through the years we have extended TORQUE with many unique features to match the current developments in our grid infrastructure. As a heavily user focused infrastructure, most of the advancements were designed to cover particular novel use-cases that have arisen through the years.
