KW - aquatic macroinvertebrates KW - drought bioindication KW - Ephemeroptera KW - Plecoptera KW - Trichoptera N2 - Global climate change brings a new phenomenona to Central Europe - drying up (interruption of surface flow) of small brooks and rivers (up to the 4th Strahler’s order). The project’s “Drying up of streams during climate change” (acronym BIODROUGHT) main goals: retrospective indication of dry episode based on the analysis of taxonomic and functional composition of benthic macroinvertebrate communities maps of vulnerability to drying up of small streams and rivers. This poster presents the preliminary results of the reaction of EPT (Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Trichoptera) taxa to drying up of streams.
