Anotace

V originále

The handbook of splanchnology and angiology was written for English-speaking students of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in Brno. The aim of authors was to provide students with a guidebook through their study of the Anatomy II. It is not a new textbook with detailed description of structures; the hanbook brings a commented survey of anatomical terms that students have to know about the internal organs and cardiovascular system for the fi nal exam of Anatomy. In addition, the integument and endocrine glands are included. Some sections of the handbook are accompanied by simple diagrams that are recommended for students to be able to draw at the fi nal exam or for better understanding of relations of organs. The students should use this handbook during their instructions of Anatomy or for revision before the fi nal exam. However, the students can acquire the complete knowledge only when using this book in combination with any more comprehensive textbook of anatomy, e.g., Gray’s Anatomy for Students, and certainly an anatomical atlas. Irreplaceable part of Anatomy study is work with prosections during Anatomy practicals, attendance at Anatomy lectures and active study during dissection course.
