Favorable taxation of NGOs prevail. NGO sector in Slovakia has a well-developed infrastructure, training and research base. The government of prime-minister Radičová is extremely receptive to policy advocacy groups. Trade unions are free in Slovakia and by majority of population negatively perceived.
